Welcome
Judy Cunningham
has incorporated various techniques on her gourds such as carving, dyeing,
pyrography, enameling, and fused glass made for her by her husband Larry.
Larry Cunningham began working in fused glass in 2003 and
incorporates various techniques in his glass such as glass casting,
vitrigraph, slumping, and hot working the glass.
Now Larry and Judy are combining their talents toward "gourds
and glass" with their favorite design themes inspired from Africa, marine life,
floral, and Art Nouveau. Their work is now being recongnized for combining
traditional with contemporary, both in abstract and graphic forms.
Their work is featured in the Garllery section of the "Complete
Book of Gourd Carving" by Jim Widess and Ginger Summit, Sterling Publications
Company, 2004, and in "The Immortal Molded Gourds" By Betty Finch and Guojun
Zhang, the Caning Shop, 2006. Larry and Judy also show their work in galleries
in Southern California.
